Star of the Sea AC 4th Annual 5K Road Race and Fun Run – Tues 24th May 2016 at 8.00pm
Star of the Sea 4th Annual 5k Road Race and Fun Run around the village of Stamullen takes place on Tuesday 24th May 2016 at 8pm. Race HQ is the St. Patrick’s GFC Centre on the Cockhill Rd., Stamullen. The 5k event will be preceeded by juvenile races (cost €2 at the line) around the track at St. Patrick’s GFC starting at 7pm. Online regsitration for the 5k is now open and costs €15 while registration on the night will cost €20. There will be free technical T-shirts for the 1st 300 online entries. The race is limited to 500 participants. There are cash prizes in male and female categories for the 1st 5 finishers overall, 1st 2 juniors, 1st 2 masters o/40, o/50 & o/60 plus the 1st 2 club teams male and female. As usual the post race refreshments and prize giving will take place upstairs in the pavillon.

You can open the link below which will show you the course route around Stamullen. The race starts on the Gormanston Rd about 300m east of the the bridge over the M1 and finishes on the track at the St. Patrick’s GFC.
